Please read my articles in the General Category Archives Titled “Mail order scooters” Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, to get an idea of what to honestly expect when ordering a scoot off the internet. Once you’ve done that and you’re still ready to order off the internet here are a couple of online importers that I trust. Could you have a problem? Absolutely. Will they do their best (within reason) to assist you? Yes they will. Are you a complete idiot and expect that a $1200 shipped to your door scooter is going to be every bit as good as a $5000 Vespa LX 150 and never give you any trouble? If that’s the case then no one can help you and you will likely spend the rest of your life dragging my name and these importers across the internet coals. So be it.
I’ve had dealings with John (owner) of Valley Scooters for several years. They are currently headquartered in GA. Heck of a guy and does his best to provide excellent service to his customers in this thankless business. He imports his Motorino brand of scooters which are built by ZNEN one of the better Chinese scooter manufacturers. From 50 cc to 300 cc in any style you can imagine and for a fair price. If you insist on saving $ and buying through the internet John is a good guy.
Next is another good friend of mine.
Bandit Motorsports
Much of what I said about John applies to Jim. He offers a wide variety of manufacturers, models, and sizes to choose from. He also has a cool option of fully assembling and testing then custom crating and shipping your scoot for not much more $$. Jim is located in OR.
