Also, there is a group of scooterists that roll on Honda 50cc scoots ( Ruckus, Metropolitans) that get together in Portland on a regular basis. They have wrench nights and have done some very cool customizing of their scoots. I went for a ride with them Monday night. Good people. I will try and get a contact for you.—Andrew “Bing Bang” Baca
Ellen there are no “fixed” rides as yet I am aware of. That said I know my friends in Brunswick ride regularly. So far I have had very little feedback from any “clubs” despite even running Craigslist ads trying to get some response. Stay in touch though and I’ll let you know if I get any info.

Hi, I have a Roketa maui 50 and the electric gremlins are driving me nuts. I am at wits end and I would like to turn it over to someone I can trust who won’t judge me for having a Chinese scooter. I live in South Berwick and I am not afraid to travel a bit (less than 1.5 hours). I love to scoot and so does my wife but we have been sans wheels since last spring and I have exhausted my mechanical abilities. Can you help?
