I received word from my friend Andrew that their scooter club now has it’s own website!

The Idle Threats a vintage scooter group based out of the Portland area. I’m sure they would be willing to ride with about anyone into scooters though. Andrew recently went with a group of Metro and Ruckus riders for a ride. The Idle Threats gather for rides, scooter tinkering, and camaraderie on regular basis. Details can be found on their website. Andrew is a great guy and was instrumental in helping me get the 64 Vespa I “rescued” up and running. He is a great asset to the Maine scooter scene. It is my hope that by posting club links and stories I’ll generate interest amongst scooterists all around Maine to form other such clubs and have a directory of them here on Scoot Maine!
